In the room you can wait for your classes to start. And for parents, it is very convientient your for children when they need to wait before their lessons begin or stay longer after their lessons are finished.
Why is it called the forum?
Since our school is called Barcino School, using the name of Roman Barcelona, we want to maintain the legacy of the city and use some Roman names for our rooms.
The forum was a public square and a large leisure space for the Romans. All the activities were around the forum. Therefore, it was the busiest part of the city. Being the meeting point of the citizens and the place where the celebrations came to life, it became a highly representative space of the Roman city in general. The name “forum”, therefore, best represents the use of this room in our school.
